There’s a new enduro in the market, and this time, it has come from KTM. The company has launched its most affordable enduro bike, the 125 Enduro R.

Inspired by the 690 Enduro R, this new small-sized 125 Enduro R has been developed for riders who want to explore the world of hardcore off-road riding. The 125cc motorcycle acts as a great learning platform, and if the bank balance and skills allow, it can eventually be upgraded to the 390 Enduro R or something much bigger.

The KTM 125 Enduro R shares the same frame as its bigger sibling but gets a smaller 125cc motor. The new generation of smaller KTMs have similar frames, but the subframe differs and that has been possible due to the bolt-on feature.

The 125 Enduro R gets USD forks at the front with 230mm travel, and the WP Apex monoshock at the back. While the 390 Enduro R gets a full adjustability setup, the 125 version doesn’t get any in the front. However, it gets preload adjustment at the rear. This KTM rides on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke non-tubeless wheels. The tyres are from Metzelers and it’s called the Karoo 4. The brakes are the usual Bybre seen on other KTM models.

Just like the rest of the entry-level KTMs, the 125 Enduro R will be made by Bajaj at their Chakan plant and exported worldwide. While the 125 Duke is sold in India, it is highly unlikely that the company would sell the 125 Enduro R in India as it will be quite expensive.
